Research Opportunities

Are you a student or researcher in the field of forestry, biology or the aquatic sciences? Are you in need of a study site? We offer ample opportunities for research projects in many aspects of the natural sciences. From a high school senior project to a post-doctorate research project, we may be able to help!

We currently are partnered with Green River College in Auburn, WA on a permanent plot study on the property. In the spring of 2017, 40 permanent plots were installed across to the property to measure different attributes of the forest, with the goal to see how our forest changes over time. Students from the College will periodically re-measure these plots, analyze and present the data to the Board.
